Steinbach Ingenieurtechnik (SI) was founded by the end of 1998 with the aim to provide excellent customer support covering projec­ting and procurement as well as installation, service and repair of shipbuilding equipment. The com­panies we represent are manufac­turers of high-quality and highly reliable products.

In January 1999 SI became the official representative of SPERRE Industri AS and TAMRO­TOR Marine Compressors AS – both market leaders in the compressor industry.

In the beginning of 2000 SI became the official represen­tative of JETS AS. Jets AS Germany was established and a combined assembly hall/spare part stock was set up in Ratzeburg. European customers receive their shipments directly from Ratzeburg which leads to benefits such as shorter delivery times, lower transport costs and no cus­toms clearance procedures.

In July 1999 BRUNVOLL AS established Brunvoll Germany as their first branch office abroad, managed by Steinbach Ingenieurtechnik. Along with that SI also assumed responsibility for the market in The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg.

By now Brunvoll AS has an impressive reference catalogue of more than 500 thruster units delivered to Germany and the BeNeLux countries and co-operations with almost all German yards. Fur­thermore Brunvoll AS has delivered thrusters for a large number of new buildings built abroad but ordered by German or Dutch shipowners.

In 2007 SI took up the representa­tion of FINNØY Gear & Propeller AS in Germany and the BeNeLux countries. Thus SI gained another leading company in propeller tech­nology as co-operation partner to complete our product range.
